Notice to Our Readers…The D.C. Clothesline is Moving

Just a quick word to let you know that the D.C. Clothesline is moving to its own domain at www.dcclothesline.com

About 72 hours ago WordPress suspended us from posting new articles. It ended up being a mistake and they have apologized. There are no hard feelings at all, but we need to be able to be in control of our own site. Not being able to publish anything for almost 72 hours was very disheartening.

It will take some time to fully transition over to the new site. I would not be surprised if we publish one or two more articles over here, but the new site is running and we have started to put the newest articles there. I sincerely hope that our email subscribers will follow us over. It’s tough to know that we are losing a very large list of subscribers, but ultimately this is the best decision for everyone.

Thank You for all of your support…past, present, and future.

God Bless You All,

Dean Garrison

  1. Gunny G from The Anti Liberal Zone here.

JOIN THE CROWD brother! I was banned from Townhall after having the #1 blog for about 2 years running! I was banned by Google on my old Anti Liberal Zone blogspot on CHRISTMAS DAY 2011! Bought my own domain and never looked back.

Your over the target brother, when the flak is thick and heavy!

A couple of things regarding the new site:

    0) The bottom of the new page still says “Proudly powered by WordPress”. Is that still the case?

    1) I like the flag as much as any other red-blooded American patriot, but the tiled page background is garish and almost causes seizures when you scroll the page. I recommend changing it to a parchment appearance (or something like that) so our brains aren’t distracted while trying to read the content.

    Thanks for understanding.

  3. ‘ll be there. Thanks you all for being there too.

Dean, I am sorry for your problem with WordPress, but you deserve your own site. So, in that sense I am happy for you. And I will be following you!

    Best of everything!

    • It was an honest mistake. It happens. The new site is pretty cheap. I guess most people realize I am still unemployed. I got the domain for $15 and the site costs me $7 a month. LOL We will make it seem like it’s worth a million bucks though. Thanks Franklin. Take care my friend.

Will you be to transfer older posts to the new domain? I’ve only recently come across your site and would really like to check out the older material.

    • This site will stay up if we can not transfer our articles. I am not really a technical type person. I tried to transfer everything once already and failed. LOL We all have our talents and websites are not mine. I was actually shocked that I figured everything out without more help than I already had to ask for. No worries though. I will leave this site up if we can not figure out a way to transfer everything over.
