Trayvon Martin’s Involvement In Local Burglaries Covered Up By Media, School, Police, Prosecutors (Geller, Atlas Shrugs)

pamela gellerNot only did the media and law enforcement cover up Trayvon Martin’s criminal record — the attack on Zimmerman and subsequent show trial brought systemic corruption to light and led to the takedown of senior officials.

Trayvon Martin’s Involvement In Local Burglaries Covered Up By Media, School, Police, Prosecutors

Excerpted from The Last Refuge:

Ironically were it not for Frances Robles writing a Miami Herald article on March 26th 2012 an entire chain of events would not have taken place.

It was that Robles article, and the outlining of the Miami-Dade School Police Department’s report on a Trayvon Martin incident from October 2011, that kicked off an internal investigation by M-DSPD Police Chief Hurley against his own officers to find out who leaked the police report.

[Note: The Miami-Dade Public School System has its own Police force, and Chief, who report to the School Board and Superintendent – Not the Police Dept. The Police Chief is appointed by the School Superintendent, in this example, Alberto Carvalho]

October 2011

It was that M-DSPD internal affairs investigation which revealed in October 2011 Trayvon Martin was searched by School Resource Officer, Darryl Dunn. The search of Trayvon Martin’s backpack turned up at least 12 pcs of ladies jewelry, and a man’s watch, in addition to a flat head screwdriver described as “a burglary tool”.

When Trayvon was questioned about who owned the jewelry and where it came from, he claimed he was just holding it for a “friend”. A “friend” he would not name.

Later, after the police report was outlined in the Robles article, and despite Trayvon being suspended for the second time in a new school year, Martin family attorney, Benjamin Crump, said Trayvon’s dad, Tracy Martin, and Trayvon’s mom, Sybrina Fulton, did not know anything about the jewelry case.

It was only as a consequence of the M-DSPD internal affairs investigation that “why” they may not have known came to light.

On October 21st 2011 a burglary took place a few blocks from Krop Senior High School where Trayvon Martin attended. The stolen property outlined in the Miami-Dade Police Report (PD111021-422483) matches the descriptive presented by SRO Dunn in his School Police report 2011-11477.

However, there was ONE big issue. SRO Dunn never filed a criminal report, nor opened a criminal investigation, surrounding the stolen jewelry. Instead, and as a result of pressure from M-DSPD Chief Hurley to avoid criminal reports for black male students, Dunn wrote up the jewelry as “found items”, and transferred them, along with the burglary tool, to the Miami-Dade Police property room where they sat on a shelf unassigned to anyone for investigation.

A separate report of “criminal Mischief” (T-08809) was filed for the additional issue of writing “WTF” on a school locker. [It was the search for the marker used to write the graffiti that led to the backpack search].

The school discipline, “suspension”, was attached to the graffiti and not the stolen jewelry.

oCTOBER 2011 - 1

The connections between the Police Burglary report and the School Report of “found items” were never made because the regular police detective in charge of the Burglary case had no idea the School Police Dept. had filed a “found items” report.

Two differing police departments, and the School Officer, Dunn, intentionally took the criminal element out of the equation – instead preferring “school discipline” and not “criminal adjudication”.

It was only when the M-DSPD Internal Affairs investigation kicked in, and six officers gave sworn affidavits, the manipulative scheme to improve criminal statistics within the School System were identified openly.

School Superintendent Alberto Carvalho gave his hire, Police Chief Hurley, instructions to reduce the criminal behavior of young black males. The chosen strategy between them, to insure optical success, was to stop using the Criminal Justice System to punish black student behavior. Instead they instructed the School Resource Officers to use school discipline in place of criminal justice.

Another approach was the use of The Baker Act, to quantify behaviors under health HIPPA law secrecy by assigning the students with psychological problems. This allowed them to again use school discipline and work around criminal reports.

Without the reports, the statistics would improve immensely;  And improve they did.

M-DSPD Media Advisory - Copy

The final approach, to insure no-one would find out about the manipulation, was to change the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for inter-agency information sharing.

This new SOP was outlined by a communications directive in 2010 forbidding the sharing of Miami-Dade School Police reports to outside agencies without redaction. Officers had to send any and all requests through the public information officer.

Hence, the furor of Chief Hurley when the Robles article hit the press and cited police reports – Hurley smelled a leaker and launched an investigation.

Ultimately the internal affairs investigation initiated by Hurley led to his own firing, because the officers questioned told the internal affairs investigators the truth of what was going on and outed the scheme.

One of the examples of this in action was the jewelry incident and Trayvon Martin – as accidentally outlined in the Herald report. But the Herald never knew their reporting had launched an internal affairs investigation which led to the collapse of the scheme.

Meanwhile the stolen jewelry from the burglary (PD111021-422483) was sitting on a shelf in the Property Room listed as (2011-11477 “found items) gathering dust.

Until we started digging, and the FOIA requests revealed not only the scheme, but the fact a victim was never made whole with the return of their items.

That is, until now.

  1. Never, ever bring Skittles to a street fight.

  2. Big Lou says:

Zimmerman approached Martin because he supposedly was standing in the rain, peering into some windows and moving about suspiciously. Zimmerman was part of a “community patrol” group that kept an eye out for those types of suspicious activities, especially because the community there had more than several recent break-ins/robberies. Zimmerman acted appropriately when he confronted Martin. But you choose to use the word “provoked”. You choose to describe Martin as “immature” as well. Immature and “thug” are not the same. Based on the jewelry and screw-driver found in Martins backpack, (to which the “immature” Martin responded by saying the all to familiar, “my friend gave it to me”)excuse, I would summise that Martin may have had other plans that night and Zimmerman interrupted them. You choose to say “no matter what past crimes Martin committed, none of them were punishable by death”. Really ?? Is that your stance on this? Let me guess what you would do if a 17 year old “immature” kid was beating your ass and you thought it might be the end of your existence, especially if you had a gun, knife, or any other item at your disposal. Also, please elaborate on how the police “didn’t do their job” ?? The only reason you said that is because you didn’t like the verdict. I bet if Zimmerman would have been found guilty you’d be applauding the police for their diligence and focus. PLEASE Bro !!!! ENOUGH !

    • Moorefyus says:

Whatever plans u think Trayvon had or didnt have in mind is not a crime. And he was standing under awning. he wasnt peering in anyones windows. but i understand your need to criminalize a young black murder victim who was in fact not even on trial.

  3. Moorefyus says:

is this crap for real? No. 1 Trayvon Martin is not on trial…he is dead. Zimmerman was tried for murder and anothe murder of an innocent young black man was excused. A young man who had committed no crime and HAS NO CRIMINAL RECORD. The only crime he committed was being black with a hoodie on in his own neighborhood. Zimmerman couldnt have been in fear of his life if he was the pursuer even after he was instructed not to follow him. He initiated the confrontation…another wanna be cop, and maybe getting his ass whooped and shot a 17 yr old boy in the heart. The lead investigator on the scene did not find Zimmermans story credible. Since we’re discussing criminal backgrounds lets look at Zimmermans :
“In 2005, Zimmerman was arrested and charged with “resisting officer with violence” and “battery of law enforcement officer.” Both these felonies are considered third-degree. Due to his desperate attempts, the charges were reduced to “resisting officer without violence” and then the only remaining charge was also completely waived off when he entered an alcohol education program.
In the same year (2005), Zimmerman’s ex-fiance, Veronica Zuazo, filed a civil motion for a restraining order, alleging domestic violence. In retaliation, Zimmerman filed for a retraining order against Zuazo and both these claims were resolved with both restraining orders granted.” And lets not forget witness #9 who told police investigators Zimmerman molested her at 6 yrs old til she was 16 and that her whole family are racist and hate black people.

    • Joe Maffei says:

thug ass punk is what Martin was. plenty of evidence of it, stop ignoring it

    • Nobam2012 says:

Martin the thug is dead because he hit someone with a gun and got his punk ass popped. And Zimmerman was only tried because of the lies and racism against him. He was also not on trial for a single persons complaint that he molested them. If it were true he would be on trial for it now dufus.

  4. Tony says:

Shame on CNN for profiting off of any murder. You might be surprised if you stop televising these type of events, our problems may become minimal. They take everything to a level that should not be. A person is dead, forget the circumstances, it’s a dead Pearson. Leave it at that. Just like they do every night on our own local news channels. Every one needs to stop watching their televised bull shit, and they will stop showing it.

  5. Big Lou says:

Elizabeth said, “if it was a white boy there would have been no problem”…….perfect example of the ignorance and racism that people have who refuse to look at the facts of this case. “Who cares if Trayvon was going to make a drug” was a good one too. Not quite sure what she means there because of the broken English, but again it appears that Elizabeth is willing to overlook any wrong-doing on Martin’s part. Wasn’t Zimmerman part of a neighborhood watch patrol?? I would think the people in that community would be thankful for such focused and responsible patrolling. Yeah, it’s a tragedy that a 17 year old lost his life…it always is no matter what the circumstances are. But I will say this, if I’m attacked by anyone who is beating me to within an inch of my life….and I have a gun……guess what, I’m shooting your ass whether you’re white, black, green, purple, blue, orange, striped, checkered, flourescent, an animal, bigfoot, or an alien from another planet !!! Done !

    • Mac says:

      Ummm… let’s do a little math – OTAY???

Blacks = about 13% of the population but commit about 50% of the crimes…. lemme axe you a simple question – what the hell do you expect?

  6. Big Lou says:

That “child” was 17, and 6’0″ tall, 160 lbs……AND attempting to kill a man. It’s tragic for sure, but be real. It’s amazing why people like you choose to ignore the facts of this case for your own personal agendas. Sorry dude, it doesn’t work like that ! Black, white or whatever, Martin picked the wrong dude to assault.

    • Nobam2012 says:

When I was 17 I was in South Korea in the Army. I could take on most any man…….because at 17 I was a man. Not a punkass thug like Trayvon. What the hell kind of name is that anyway? No wonder he was a loser.

  7. Bobby Mills says:

Slander is the best way to justify homicide. Does the fact that this was a child not matter? I don’t care what color this child skin was. This Pamala Geller must have KY and a dildo the size of Florida getting off knowing that a child has come to harm or killed by assholes like Zimmerman. Fact of all this fuckery is that a child was killed and his life was ended by someone that might as well have been a child predator if he ain’t one now.

  8. C. R. Kelly says:

I think what we learned over all is that like most things by the time the media got done sensationalizing it lost the basic elements of the altercation. #1, photo of Trayvon was of a young looking boy looking innocent not the tattoo, gang signing large young man he was. #2, They picked up partial statements from witnesses that as they interviewed grew closer to Disneyland than the facts….the trial was about facts not black or white. #3, what made Zimmerman ” a want a be”? Lots of young men in police and fire department join groups that give them insight to what they are interested in. Does that made all junior fire fighters arsonists? Why did people that did not belong talking about this case get press? A president that sits in Washington and decided to give an opinion based on ?, Jackson and a few others that felt it gave them a podium to give another speech about black vs white (Martin Luther King is rolling in his grave that they have taken us back to the 60’s and racial tensions) and finally a local police department/ school district that was more interested in statics than doing the job they got paid for. What part of this WHOLE SITUATION smells so bad that you cannot bury it deep enough to get rid of the smell.

  9. Elizabeth says:

Who said that he went out looking for Zimmerman? from what I understand, Trayvon was killed before he even got home, let alone go back out to find the guy who was following him. Zimmerman needed to not be so quick to judge, if it was a white boy there would have been no problem. I’m not saying it was racism, but because of all of the black boy profiling because of all of the robberies. Zimmerman should have thought twice, because not all black boys/men are intent on burglary. Who cares if Trayvon was going to make a drug, that wasn’t the reason that Zimmerman was following him. I would have been freaked if I was being followed as well. He couldn’t have just said, “hey where you headed?” instead he had to be a creeper. Feeling like you are being followed will make you paranoid, and will make someone act defensive in response.

  10. LOLO says:

Why hasn’t anyone come forward to identify and/or claim the jewelry? I think it will be very newsworthy when people who have been robbed find out their stolen items were in Trayvon’s back-pack (along with a flat-head screwdriver).

  11. M says:

Walking is not illegal but, assault is. Trayvon threw the first punch and assaulted George Zimmerman. Trayvon broke the law.

  12. dude says:

  13. ML says:

Obama had no business saying anything about this case. He is the president of the US (unfortunately) and should not give his personal opinion about any criminal or civil cases. But since he said if he had a son, he would be like Trayvon Martin, I’m sure he would be so proud of him!!

  14. ML says:

I guess the rule that if you have any black in you at all makes you black. But if you’re Hispanic and white that makes you all white. I guess a lot of people missed that memo.

  15. Jeannette says:

If all this was true, the fact still remains that on the night in question he was walking down a sidewalk and doing nothing, I repeat nothing illegal, just walking down a side walk with candy and a soda. He had every right to be there and he was doing nothing to warrant the man killing him. This country should be ashamed of what has happened here. I sure am.

    • RodInTexas says:

Jeannette you’re a $%#@ moron. Travon was a gangbanger-wannbe thief, druggie and thug. He ATTACKED George Zimmerman and GZ shot the punk in self-defense. All of this was admitted to by the police, multiple witness testimony and the EVIDENCE in COURT.

    • …he was trespassing….he had no right to be there ….a hole in a fence gave him no right to enter a gated private property community…

    • KGW says:

So slamming someone’s head against the ground is just minding ones own business. Nothing illegal there….. Have you even paid attention to any of the evidence??? It’s people like you who are ruining this country. Does the term “useful idiot” mean anything to you? Look it up.

    • J.J. says:

Jeanette, skittles, iced tea. That’s part of a drink called”Purple Drank” Just add cough medicine(with codeine). His text messages revealed that he was trying to score cough medicine. Of course it has to have some form of oxycodone.

      • Geenie NaBottle says:

Shut up you freaking idiot! The whole “purple drink” BS was made up by racists morons for other racist morons like you in order to justify your bigoted prejudice!

You ought to be ASHAMED of yourself!

Vengeance is mine says The Lord. He also said thou shall not kill, not thou shall not kill unless a lawyer and racist jurors decide its self defense. He also says thou shall not bear false witness. Zimmerman will reap what he has now sowed. And so to will people like you and the author of this post of lies & the people who made up the “purple drink” garbage. REMEMBER THAT!

“Proverbs 28:9 If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction,
        even their prayers are detestable.”

    • Scott McKay says:

No, he was reportedly looking in windows, and acting suspiciously. In a community which had been having a rash of break-ins. Now, If I were being followed, I might turn and confront the individual, but at the point he punched him in the face, knocking him to the ground, and then proceeded to beat his head on the concrete repeatedly, that’s where he skipped off the “innocent” track, and earned himself a bullet.

    • LOLO says:

ummm, he wasn’t on a sidewalk, according to evidence, until he was straddled on top of Zimmerman. They both might have had a right to be where they were, but Trayvon’s rights ended with the first punch. Be ashamed of your ignorance, not America.

    • You left out the part where Martin sucker punched Zimmerman as Zimmerman was returning to his vehicle and then proceeded to beat Zimmerman viciously.

      • Geenie NaBottle says:

Wow why didn’t you testify since you were there and saw everything first hand ….NOT!

We will never know hat happened that night because all we have is the lying statement of a killer to go by. A killer I might add who did NOT want to get on the stand and tell the jury what happened.

    • Jack Kendrick says:

Doing nothing …. right until he cold-cocked Zimmerman, broke his nose, jumped on top of him and started beating his head on the concrete and raining down mixed martial arts blows on him.

How come you left that detail off? Did you miss the trial?

  16. Brinkman says:

Hey, a Hispanic kills a black guy and the WHITE people get the blame! DAM! Now that’s funny! dumb ass people I tell ya!

  17. Mac says:

Just shows what a pathetic case the prosecution had – it never should of gone to trial…

Even that clown of a judge who fell all over her robes trying to railroad Zimmerman wasn’t enough.

Now Eric Holder wants to “double-jepardy” Mr. Zimmerman?

I’m sure Holder is judge shopping as we speak – just like he did in order to get subpoenas for Fox’s Rosen..

Bring it on you stupid racist nigger, Holder…..

  18. Billy Cooper says:

I am not saying that Trayvon Martin needed to die. What I am saying, Zimmerman was tried by the “Lame Stream Media” which is shameful. And any an all burning, looting, disruptions brought about as a result of the outcome, you can Blame it all on the News Media and the President. Obama has always butted in with his “two cents” when he should have kept his damn mouth shut. And the Blacks in this country are always up to a burning, destroying, disrupting, anything except, getting a damn job, and working for a change. wELFARE aNYONE?

    • Drake says:

Billy, Thanks for categorizing all the blacks in the country as being ready to burn & loot. Just so you know, I have a job, no plans to burn or loot, & have been telling people for months that Zimmerman was going to be found not guilty. I know he is guilty because he provoked the incident but since the only other witness is dead & the police didn’t do their job, he beat the case. He followed a 17 year old immature kid which started the incident. Had he stayed in the car that kid would still be alive & Zimmerman would still be a fake cop serving the neighborhood watch. No matter what past crimes Martin committed, none of them were punishable by death. Zimmerman was paranoid & racially profiled a kid which resulted in the death of a 17 year old kid. No one knows if that kid would have changed for the better….& now we’ll never know thanks to Zimmerman.

      • Not guilty for good reason says:

You should probably watch this video. I can tell you have completely absorbed what the media told you with zero research done on your own.

      • Choose Goose says:

The young man was into MMA. Most of my friends who are into that, initially, go around thinking they are George St. Pierre. Until they get a beer bottle smashed over there head and realize MMA is useless with weapons involved.

That said, I suspect Zimmerman was probably interrogating Martin about where he was going, etc, due to the rash of break ins. Following him in his car, trying to get him to leave the area. Understandable, he had volunteered to do that. Nothing illegal about that. Annoying, but legal.

I suspect the Martin probably told Zimmerman to f**k off. Things escalated, and Martin probably attacked him. Young men with MMA training are notorious for poor judgement and will not back down from a fight.

I suspect Zimmerman was getting his ass kicked. Martin probably beat him up, and as he was walking away Zimmerman likely shot him, out of revenge not necessarily defence as the fight was over.

I don’t agree with the shooting, but the reality is this is how it goes down all over. At clubs, bouncers kick a guy out, later, the guy comes back with a gun and shoots the bouncer. Some of my MMA friends, idiots, start a fight in a bar, beat a guy up good. Guy comes back with his friends, smash a beer bottle on his head and stab him.

The whole race issue is the powers that be trying to stir up shit. They are just itching to take away more of our liberties. They want to grab everyones guns.

        • LinLeo says:

You didn’t hear any of the experts testimony TM was shot from 3-6 inches away with the barrel of the gun next to the shirt that was hanging away from his body.

        • ri8terofwrongs says:

Nice theory but wrong Choose Goose. Forensics proved that Travon was in very close quarters when he was shot, he was also “above” Zimmerman as blood spatter, angle of bullet, etc proved. Travon was not walking away. I am not here to defend anyone just saying that I do believe in forensic science. As for the media keeping racism alive and well I agree 100 percent. They do it for several reasons two of which are to be able to use and manipulate the black race by pretending to be their friends, and to get to their end goal of complete gun removal from the American public.

          • Jack Kendrick says:

Also the media likes a good riot. Violence sells newspapers.

Blacks have been totally manipulated into a racial and racist frenzy by the media that just wants pictures of black people carrying free flatscreens down the street.

      • Randy says:

Trayvon was a thief and a wanna be gangsta! He was no poor little kid,as he is being portrayed! His Tea and Skittles were ingredients for his “Purple Drank”! Trayvon Martin was a PUNK who ran into someone who took him out! Punks and Thugs better take notice! Citizens are sick of being victims!

      • Robert Poppenhusen says:

Drake, while I do not agree with all that Billy said, I will say that it is the Democrats and the far left that are perpetuating racism in this country. They have destroyed the black families in this country and all in the name of compassion. But you are just as guilty and showing prejudice by categorizing Trayvon Martin as a child. He was 17 years old, had the physique of a football player and just as strong, was taller, heavier, and faster than Zimmerman. That does not fit the definition of a child. There never was enough evidence to bring this to trial. They had to bring in a special (Democrat again) prosecutor. They bypassed the Grand Jury, because they knew there wasn’t enough evidence. Obama further inflamed the country with his remarks that if he had a son he would look like Trayvon. The media followed suit and played the race card over and over again. They even went so far as to edit and alter the 911 tape to further their agenda. Eric Holder, even went so far as to send down organizers to set up protests and even had people bussed in to protest at different times, all with public tax money. That is the real crime in this story. Race was never an issue. Even Trayvon’s parents said race was not the issue.

The trial is over. He was found not guilty. Time to put it behind and start the healing process, not fan the flames of hatred. Get your focus on the good in this country, not the evil that is trying to over take us.

      • Scott McKay says:

If Trayvon has stayed home once he got there, instead of going back out looking for Zimmerman, he’d still be alive. He had every right to follow him, he was reportedly looking in windows…a bad idea in a neighborhood where there were burglaries going on.
