Organizing For America (Obama’s America) tried to get Professor Andrea C. Hatcher, a political science professor at Sewanee: The University of the South. Professor Hatcher tweeted, “Been contacted by @OFA to ‘recruit’ students for them. Let me be clear : I don’t shill for any interest group or party.”
Hatcher says that OFA asked her to recruit her students to work on promoting Obama’s policies. The OFA (That’s oaf spelled sideways) is a non-profit, tax exempt group, that openly endorses Obama and democrats against the terms of their tax exempt status. Don’t hold your breath, waiting for the IRS to pull their status. After all, patriot or Tea party doesn’t appear in their name.
This leads me to wonder how many professors are involved in this indoctrination of students. I’ll bet they start class with the Pledge of Allegiance to Barry and then three choruses of Barack Obama mmm mmm mmm. Instead of gold stars students get points. Once they have enough points, they can trade it in for an Obama flag, or an Obama basketball. Or maybe the Obama symbol encrusted on a hammer or a sickle.
Once you have completed enough propaganda hours you become a member of the Obama Youth Brigade. Your membership card entitles you to discounts on the sheet music for Kumbaya, scented incense, tie died t shirts and free admission to the Occupy Movement of your choice. Thank you, professor Hatcher, for imposing a moment of sanity in a world of madness.
