I am quite frankly a little angry today. Craig Pusley, whose picture and story recently went viral thanks to social networks, has turned out to be just another liar. Sources cite that he was in fact a marine but he was never deployed, never decorated as claimed, and never came close to the rank of Sgt. He was in the Marine Corps for less than a year and never rose above the rank of PFC.
Why this man would lead people to believe otherwise is beyond me. What he stood for was good and he carried a message of hope and strength at a time it was badly needed.
Behind every dark cloud there is a silver lining, however. Obama let his book publishers print that he was born in Kenya. Apparently that was a lie, although they said it was an honest mistake. 😉 *wink wink* I shouldn’t say it was a lie, because that term has a different meaning in politics. It was simply “not true.” I have been known to not tell the whole truth on accident. Honest mistake. It happens all the time to people whose honesty is beyond question.
I think American people like the drama and this man may have just proven that he is worthy of political office. The first rule of being elected today seems to be the uncanny ability to believe your own lies.
I’m not even sure how old Craig Pusley is, but the GOP better get to him before the liberals do. If Obama can be president then Pusley certainly can, providing he can keep on making mistakes in regard to the truth. He has potential but he needs to polish those mad skills. He should have kept standing as a sentry after the truth was discovered. He should have stuck to his story and ignored the public perception of the truth. He has potential but he will need grooming to take this country’s top office.
The public loves this stuff and they will vote for it. Pusley made an honest mistake. Those weren’t really lies told about his multiple tours and service medals, he just accidentally didn’t tell the whole truth. I’d vote for him.
I wonder who might have accidentally failed to tell the whole truth about Benghazi? If it was Hillary Clinton then one must assume that she has vaulted to the front-runner for the 2016 Democratic nomination. You can think I am insane but I voicing more truth then we receive from any of our leaders. I will admit it. I am not electable.
