The New World Order. The very mention of this phrase brings ridicule to many who believe in it. Rational people just don’t give credence to such conspiracies, it is said. Those of us who believe in this planned agenda are lunatic conspiracy theorists who need to get a life. I’ve heard it all.
In recent years the puzzle has started to come together with a man named George Soros. Soros doesn’t try to hide it. A New World Order is his agenda.
Let me share a couple of quick quotes with you and for now I will keep the source anonymous:

It would seem logical for the reform process to proceed with the United Nations as its reference because of the worldwide scope of the UN’s responsibilities…”
“On the way to creating a world political Authority, questions of governance (that is, a system of merely horizontal coordination without a higher authority super partes ) cannot be separated from those of a shared government (that is, a system which in addition to horizontal coordination establishes a higher authority super partes) which is functional and proportionate to the gradual development of a global political society.”
These quotes were pulled from a document that was about building a new world financial system and transitioning into one world government. There is no doubt that the author is embracing a standard definition of a New World Order.
For anyone who has done any research into George Soros you would probably believe that he may have said these things himself. He did not.
At the very least you would concede that he would be very supportive of these ideas. This is exactly what Soros wants. He wants one world government, along with a world financial system, and he has been quoted as saying:
“The main obstacle for a new world order is America.” -George Soros
Soros certainly has his own vision for the future of this planet and is not afraid to open his pocketbook to those who would help him achieve his dream. He was one of the biggest financial supporters of President Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign, among others. Like any businessman he will put money into investments that seem like they will give him a return. He certainly felt that Obama moved him closer to his agenda than Romney.
So who are the other two quotes from? The quotes are from Catholic Cardinal Peter Turkson who is considered a front runner to be the next Pope. The snippets are from a controversial 2011 document entitled Towards Reforming the International Financial and Monetary Systems in the Context of Global Political Authority.
Most of what we hear in the media, if we hear any controversy at all about Turkson, has to deal with his critical remarks about Muslims and Gay Priests. No one seems to be discussing the fact that he publicly embraces a New World Order.
So what does George Soros have to do with all of this? Plenty.
One of Turkson’s biggest supporters in this country is Stephen Schneck who is a Political Science professor at Catholic University of America (CUA). He is also a top official with “Catholics for Obama.”
“Schneck, who served on the board of Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good, a group funded by Soros, is so important a figure in progressive Catholic circles that there is speculation that Obama will appoint him as U.S. Ambassador to the Vatican. A writer noted that Schneck ‘has worked hand-in-glove with different offices at the USCCB [United States Conference of Catholic Bishops], with Catholic Relief Services, with the Catholic Association of Latino Leaders and the Catholic Coalition for Climate Change, and with other Catholic groups, organizing conferences that call attention to important issues.’
He wrote that ‘Schneck’s range of political and media contacts, his organizational capabilities, his ability to distinguish a central from a peripheral issue, all are vital to making these conferences a success. He brought Cardinal Peter Turkson to CUA two years ago for a conference on Rerum Novarum.’
Rerum Novarum is a papal encyclical in which, as William Mayer notes, ‘the Church proclaimed itself competent to speak on economic matters, establishing a justification for governmental control, to a greater or lesser degree, of the marketplace and by extension, players within the economy, including everyday citizens and businesses.’
Rerum Novarum is the basis for many ‘social justice’ theories promoted by leftist and Marxist operatives in the church.” Source:Â http://sorosfiles.com/soros/2013/03/soros-funded-catholic-groups-behind-african-socialist-as-next-pope.html
I would highly recommend that you read the full article from the Soros Files website but the basic contention is that there is a hard left-wing lobby coming out of the United States, in support of Turkson, that can be traced back to the funding of George Soros. Whether Soros is pulling the strings or not you can not debate the fact that Turkson is considered a solid bet for being the next Pope.
Bloomberg is even reporting that Turkson is a heavy favorite in some “Pope Betting” circles:
“The 64- year-old is the 2-to-1 favorite to replace Pope Benedict XVI as head of the Catholic Church, according to results today from betting company Paddy Power Plc (PAP) in Dublin. He’s placed third by London-based William Hill Plc. (WMH)” Source: http://origin-www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-03-05/ghanaians-pray-for-cardinal-turkson-as-africa-s-chance-for-pope.html
This is where I get on my soap box. They allow betting on Popes? Is nothing sacred in this world? I was born and raised Catholic. I still have a Rosary that was blessed by John Paul II. I am no longer a practicing Catholic but I still have love and respect for the Church and its people.
So what do you think? Does a socialist Pope who endorses a New World Order interest you? I don’t think you have to be Catholic to answer that question.
For those who don’t think it matters please note that about 18% of the World’s population is Catholic. Don’t think for a moment that this is not a seat that Soros would like to claim for the cause.
We will know soon enough but don’t call me a conspiracy theorist. The New World Order movement is real. If Turkson does become Pope, and happens to choose the name Petrus Romanus, or anything close to it… Well then we might have some serious problems. Actually Turkson’s first name is Peter so some would say he would fulfill that prophecy no matter what he chose for a Papal name. But I will leave the “Prophecy of the Popes” for others to debate. My biggest concern is what I can see right in front of my face. We have a self-proclaimed socialist Cardinal who endorses one world government and he is very close to making the permanent move to The Vatican.
I don’t think it’s in our best interest to have a Pope speaking about one world government, but maybe that’s just me. The world around me has changed so much. What I once considered common sense some people now label as hate speech. How times have changed.
