obamaclown2Richard Anthony informed us about the lifetime ban from the Missouri State Fair of a rodeo clown who donned an Obama mask. Well, lo and behold Representative Steve Stockman (R-TX) has given an invitation of the mysterious Obama rodeo clown has been given a job opportunity in Texas.

The fair banned the clown from any future events, saying in a written statement that he had engaged in an “unconscionable stunt” that was “inappropriate and not in keeping with the Fair’s standards.” They did not release the identity of the clown.

I suppose the banning of the clown shouldn’t come as a surprise, considering Missouri has elected an impotent governor like Jay Nixon (D), whose spokesman said that Nixon “agrees that the performance was disrespectful and offensive, and does not reflect the values of Missourians of the State Fair.”

Missouri also produced the likes of Senator Claire McCaskill (D), who said in a statement on her website, “If what’s being reported is true, then it’s shameful and it’s unacceptable.”

According to a press release from Stockman, he wants the clown to perform in Texas’ 36th District.

“Liberals want to bronco bust dissent. But Texans value speech, even if its speech they don’t agree with,” said Stockman, “From Molly Ivins to Louie Gohmert and every opinion between Texans value free and open political speech. I’m sure any rodeo in Texas would be proud to have performers.”

“Disagreeing with speech is one thing. Banning it and ordering citizens into reeducation classes for mocking a liberal leader is another,” said Stockman. “Liberals have targeted this man for personal destruction to create a climate of fear.”

“The liberal reaction is straight out of Alinsky. They want to crush dissent by isolating and polarizing anyone who questions Obama, even if it’s a rodeo clown with a harmless gag,” said Stockman. “The idea to create a state of fear and make people afraid to trivialize Obama. No one tried to personally destroy the rodeo clown who wore a George H.W. Bush mask.”

Well, there you have it. A Republican with some cojones! The more I hear about Steve Stockman the more I like him. He seems to be a straight-talking Texan. He sees the clown’s rodeo show for what it was, a “harmless gag.”

Liberals don’t like what the clown did because they don’t like their idols diminished. This is what they are genuinely upset about.

Obama didn’t have a response to what took place, but you can bet that deep down he was fuming that anyone dare mock him out in public the way the clown did.

I give kudos to Rep. Stockman for his latest stand against political correctness. His offer comes on the heels of his standing with Americans and veterans to support a House select committee to investigate Benghazi, taking up Senator Ted Cruz’s challenge to defund Obamacare in the House and lending support to the Barack Obama eligibility issue. He doesn’t seem concerned with his “political career,” but seems more concerned about real issues that affect the United States and its citizens. We need more elected officials like him.
