harry-reid-evil-mongersWell, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid continues to demonstrate the kind of little man that he is. As we reported yesterday, some from the finest generation went to the World War II Memorial in Washington DC and had to knock down barricades to get in! Why? It was because the Obama White House ordered it closed (not like you need someone to watch guard over it anyways). However, Reid has been in a tizzy since the partial shutdown (and I confess that I’m actually amazed house Republicans are continuing to hold their ground on, so I applaud that effort), and instead of pointing the finger where the order came from, Dirtbag Harry tweeted this:

Nothing doing Harry. The reason the barricades were in place were was because of Harry Reid’s boss, Barack Obama.

The WWII Memorial is normally unguarded. So what was the need for the barricade? Ah, that’s right political games that Obama, Reid and the Democrats are all engaged in. Nothing more.

In fact, it’s interesting that this is a government shutdown, yet it took more workers to barricade the memorial than normally secure it! Hey, but it gets even better. According to the Washington Examiner:

At the World War II Memorial on The Mall in Washington, where veterans have been staging protests to keep it open, Washington Examiner’s Charlie Spiering reports that at least seven officials were dispatched Wednesday morning to set up a ring of barricades to block tourists from the memorial. That is two more security officials than the State Department had in Benghazi a year ago on the night of the terrorist attack that killed four, including the U.S. ambassador.

Ouch! More federal workers were dispatched the memorial during the shutdown than during the Benghazi attacks when we were fully funded!

Additionally, McLean, Virginia’s privately staffed and funded Claude Moore Colonial Farm has been closed, but only because it is on National Park Service land. However, one has to ask the question of why the federal government needs to control this land in the first place and why do they have so much to begin with?

Twitchy reports that it was the Vietnam Memorial, but hey you gotta love our veterans! They dismissed the barricade there too!

Interestingly enough, during the last shutdown inn 1995, the War Memorials were all open. That was under President Bill Clinton.

Personally, I think the Democrats are sweating this entire stand against Obamacare and they never though they would be in Day 3 of a shutdown, which doesn’t look like a shutdown.
