In a bizarre story, Al Qaeda linked rebels in Syria are apologizing of beheading a fellow Sunni rebel, of the Ahrar al-Sham Sunni sect. The maniacal Islamic militants meant to behead a a member of an Iraqi Shia militia fighting for President Bashar al-Assad. But they got the wrong man. The al-Qaeda linked rebels actually belong to the Sunni Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham and in their haste, they beheaded a fellow Sunni rebel. The violence of Islam knows no bounds. The irony of jihadists slaughtering jihadists is beyond anything imaginable. But this is Islam, and its constant war. So much for peace-loving Islamists.
Militant Islamist rebels in Syria linked to al-Qaeda have asked for “understanding and forgiveness” for cutting off and putting on display the wrong man’s head.”
Got that? Islamic al-Qaeda linked rebels in Syria got the wrong man. And before they could correctly identify that he was a fellow Sunni rebel, they loped off his head. And not only did they behead him, they put his head on display in a video. The video was posted on YouTube, but has been removed. Could it be because of the mix up? Only in Islam do savages behead rival factions. This makes Islam unique unto itself, and also outrageously violent.
The very idea is appalling. But then again, the battle for Shite and Sunni supremacy goes back to the year 632. Sunnis do not think Shias are proper Muslims, and vice versa. So they only way to deal with them is to kill them. And there is nothing that jihadists do better than beheading.
In a public appearance filmed and posted online, members of Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham, one brandishing a knife, held up a bearded head before a crowd in Aleppo. They triumphantly described the execution of what they said was a member of an Iraqi Shia militia fighting for President Bashar al-Assad.
But the head was recognised from the video as originally belonging to a member of Ahrar al-Sham, a Sunni Islamist rebel group that often fights alongside ISIS though it does not share its al-Qaeda ideology.
So what to do after you behead a fellow Sunni Islamist? Apologize of course. Beg and plead for forgiveness from fellow Sunnis for the ghastly mistake. This is the stupidity of Islam and also the one issue that makes absolutely no sense. They will kill each other in the must in humane ways over doctrine like a bunch of mindless animals. In the Christian religion, this would be like Baptists beheading Methodists.
It’s Islam so they get a pass for such barbaric behavior. No matter how outrageous and violent their acts, the world looks the other way. And of the 1.6 billion Muslims on the planet, all agree that “Allah” is the one true God.
But while Sunnis rely heavily on the practice of the Prophet and his teachings (the “sunna”), the Shia see their ayatollahs as reflections of God on earth. This has led Sunnis to accuse Shia of heresy, while Shia point out that Sunni dogmatism has led to extremist sects.
So they’re constantly at war with each other, and this war for supremacy will never end until one Islamic sect completely destroys the other. And then once that’s over they’ll start preying on those left in the “same sect.” It makes no logical sense.
After inquiries, an ISIS spokesman admitted he was Mohammed Fares, an Ahrar commander reported missing some days ago. This could not be independently confirmed, but in an earlier video of a speech by Mr Fares he bears a close resemblance to the severed head in the later video.
The contents of the video could not be independently verified, but the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that while ISIS militants were responsible for the grisly incident, they had in fact killed an anti-regime rebel from an Islamist militia.
This was just a colossal failure to communicate. But given any excuse to massacre serves the purpose of Islam.
The Syrian Observatory of Human Rights, which monitors deaths in the Syrian conflict, and several activists on social media said that ISIS fighters misunderstood comments Mr Fares made referring to the Imams Ali and Hussein, the founding fathers of Shiism.
So it is possible that there was an ideological mishap that happened, leading to an unfortunate beheading amongst Islamic monsters. Regardless, maybe what Sarah Palin said is right, “Let Allah sort it out.”
