George-HicksA man who tried to rob a laundromat was chased off by the armed 90-year-old store owner.

On Monday, a man came into R&J Laundromat in Dayton, Ohio, and demanded money from the owner, George Hicks. Hicks grabbed his gun, chased off the robber, and called 911.

911 Dispatcher: “Did he take any money?”
Victim: “No. No. When he shoved me, I jumped up and went for my gun and when I went for my gun I said I’ll blow your (expletive) brains out and he was gone.”

Hicks said wasn’t the first time he’s been targeted.  In 2010, he was beaten up and robbed inside his laundromat.
