As an independent with predominately conservative viewpoints (also known as a “former” republican) my tendency is to blame Barack Obama’s idiotic foreign policy.

But that can easily be argued. After all it was years of war and occupation that weakened Iraq and destroyed their central government to replace it with a new one. If you can not see that the “nation building” policies are still in full force, then you are not paying attention.

It doesn’t seem to matter if a democrat or republican holds office. There are warmongers on both sides of the aisle.
