There are plenty of reasons that I do not watch televised news media; but, the main reason is the news organizations do not report “news” nor do they report on issues without being biased. Most news shows lean heavy toward liberal, progressive ideologies with their anchors echoing talking points from this administration then skewing the opposing conservative view in a 15 second rebuttal. In watching some of the “news” talk shows, it doesn’t take long to see the liberal, progressive diatribe emerge with any opposing view or point based on facts be submerged under a litany of labels, especially racism.
On “Fox News Sunday,” liberal commentator Juan Williams suggesting that only “while, older” people were calling for the impeachment of Barack Obama and the Republican Party has become “almost all white,” older and far right leaning.
According to the Daily Caller:
The Fox news contributor made the remarks after he claimed the Republicans had “demonized” President Obama by calling him “lawless” on issues like immigration and the implementation of Obamacare.
“Do you think that the Republican opposition to this president is racial?” Wallace asked him. “Or do you think it’s based on principle and policies?”
“Well, all I can do I look at the numbers,” he replied. “If you look at the core constituency – the people who are in, let’s say tea party opposition, support of impeachment – there’s no diversity. It’s a white, older group of people.”
“I would say if you just break it down as a matter of political analysis and say, ‘who is this group?” Williams continued. “It reminds me that the Republican Party has become almost a completely white party.”
…
“The core constituency – the people who want him impeached – they’re almost all white, and they’re all older and guess what? They’re all in the far right wing of the Republican Party.”
To Fox News:
By continuing to allow individuals like Juan Williams to break issues down into a “race” issue, your organization has fallen into the race-baiting trap skillfully used by Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Eric Holder and one, Barack Hussein Obama. The issue is not about the race or age of members of the Republican Party or the Tea Party. The issue is about policy and principle. Wallace, bringing the race issue up to Williams, opened the door for the ignorant, stupid comments by Williams. Perhaps your news organization should consider engaging other “anchors” who can discuss issues without bringing up race.
To Juan Williams:
You, sir, speak like a token black man on the Jackson/Sharpton plantation trying to keep the race issue in the forefront to avoid the truth being imparted to low information black voters with the goal of ensuring the majority of low information black voters vote Democrat. To be honest, the “blame it on the ol’ white folk” rhetoric has grown tired and old, just like you, Jackson and Sharpton. If you really wanted to impart honesty, why not be forthcoming in explaining the role you play, in cahoots with Jesse and Al, to keep low information black voters stirred up over race instead of real issues. Why not explain to low information black voters how you, Jackson and Sharpton live isolated in your fancy neighborhoods while raking in your salaries paid to you for keeping your voter base on the government dole.
Honesty, however, is not in your repertoire Mr. Williams, just like plenty of individuals in government.
Is it not better to judge a man by his character than by the color of his skin? What can be said of a man who lies, breaks the law, participates in activities that bring about the fall of governments and works to undermine the economic stability of his own country? And no, this question is not just indicating Obama, but every president who has engaged in any of this behavior – which, if you didn’t know Mr. Williams – have been all white until now. Honestly speaking, Obama is half white. And truth be told, Mr. Williams, Obama is really more Arab than black. So, are you saying “ol’ white folk” are against a White/Arab or Arab/White president since it’s quite obvious he really isn’t black, based on his heritage?
Basically, that is what you are saying. It, however, doesn’t follow the playbook, does it? You can’t stir the “racist” pot when exposing the true race of the current president.
What you are also imparting is that a man’s color is more important than his character. It’s more important to uphold the current president because he is “black” (another lie) than it is to hold him to exceptional character as outlined by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This is the rhetoric being peddled by you and your race-baiting ilk, distorting the message of Dr. King to sway millions while you line your pockets.
But, if all you can do is “look at the numbers,” you are absolutely refusing to research any point beyond race, any point beyond age, and any point that might deviate from the “institutional” rhetoric established by the “race-baiting” ilk. This, sir, shows you are unwilling to exercise any form of intelligence choosing, instead, to repeat rhetoric handed to you by others for the sake of money and TV ratings.
Take a look at history Mr. Williams. Andrew Johnson, a white president, is recorded in history as having articles of impeachment filed against him, along with Bill Clinton. If Richard Nixon had not resigned, he, too, would have joined these two in history. These are white presidents who violated the supreme law of the land, the Constitution. The remedy for that violation of law, Mr. Williams, is impeachment – regardless of color.
The issue, Mr. Williams, is the law – nothing more, nothing less. Any man who breaks the law deserves the imparting of justice under the full extent of the law. Any individual in elected office who oversteps their constitutionally defined powers should be removed from office, period. For your information, the Constitution does not allow the president to enact law based upon “executive orders.” When the president instructs constitutional agencies to “cease” enforcing a law that is constitutional, that president has violated his oath of office, acted in a lawless manner, taken on the powers of the legislature and violated the Constitution. It doesn’t matter the color or age of the man that perpetrated those actions. The actions are lawless and the one committing those acts is breaking the law.
Since you support lawlessness and individuals breaking the law, you, Mr. Williams, are just as guilty as the one committing the crime. Why don’t you explain to the many law abiding, law supporting citizens, both black and white of every social-economic background, how you can support continued actions detrimental to them by criminals in government or on the street. If you support lawlessness in one area, you support it in all areas. It’s an either or proposition Mr. Williams – you support and abide by law or you don’t. The law, the Constitution, is not a Chinese buffet, no matter how much you try to make it one.
Go back to school to get re-educated, Mr. Williams, or retire. It’s obvious you lost your sack of intelligence somewhere along the way.
