Ted Cruz was in Myrtle Beach at the South Carolina Tea Party Convention on Sunday.  His message was loud and clear.  If the GOP wants to win in 2016, they must choose a real conservative as their candidate or else millions will stay away from the polls again.  Cruz said three of the last four candidates, Mitt Romney, John McCain and Bob Dole are all good and decent men but there’s not much difference between them and the democrats.  As a result millions stay home.

In 2008 evangelicals and conservatives stayed home and in 2012, three million more stayed home than they did in 2008.  His words ring even truer when you see what happened in 2010 and 2014.  Conservatives came out in huge numbers and the Republicans enjoyed wave elections.  Add to that the fact that as soon as they got into power, they put the same liberal leadership in place and they folded like a cheap road map before Obama and the worst is yet to come.

“If we nominate another candidate in the mold of a Bob Dole or a John McCain or a Mitt Romney, all of whom are good, honorable, decent men,  the same people who stayed home in ’08 and ’12 will stay home in 2016 and the Democrats will win again.”

And he’s exactly right.  The RINOs stabbed us in the back after the 2014 election and we know they cannot be trusted.  Add to that the fact that most of the RINOs like Romney, Christie, Bush, Paul and others all favor amnesty in one form or another.  They drink the liberal Kool-Aid and listen to the main stream media and believe that’s what Americans want.  Ted Cruz understands that elections are the way voters communicate with their representatives and this time neither Obama or the Republican leadership is listening.

Let’s stand with Ted, a true conservative who has proven he is willing to fight for us, even though he has to battle the Republican RINO leadership as well as the liberals and the situation looks hopeless.
