Actually, it’s listed as Old-Age, Survivor’s, and Disability Insurance (OASDI) . Social Security means that you paid into it your whole life in order to collect.  OASDI is when the government gives it to you in exchange for your vote.  They also report that in 2017, they expect 16,000 more to begin collecting and more every year after that for 40 years, when they expect just under 700k illegals to be collecting.  You can count on that number being way too low as old people swamp the border for free pensions.

SSA’s chief actuary Stephen Goss has admitted that the SSA is proceeding in signing people up even though there is an injunction that should be preventing them from doing so.  He expects to sign up 58,000 people this year, although they will not all be eligible to start receiving money this year.  (Although I’d bet they’ll get it anyway)  Goss said:

“Based on the best advice and counsel we have gotten, we’re working on the assumption that these [executive actions] will persist.  Most indications we seem to get are that it’s likely that this will get back on track, with some delay.”

I’ve got a really crazy idea.  We seem to be incapable of holding politicians and governmental workers from abusing power by suggesting they got legal advice, saying they could break the law.  Let’s go after the lawyers.  You may or may not know that lawyers can be disbarred for malpractice or for recommending a client break the law.  The lawyers would then have to appear before the state bar association and explain how they didn’t do one or the other in the advice they imparted.  It would make lawyers think twice before they use their name on junk law opinions.

This illicit payout was made possible when republicans folded and allowed full funding for the DHS without the clause stopping Obamnesty.
