An unnamed third grade teacher in Orange, NJ forced her entire class of eight year olds to write get well letters to the liberals favorite cop killer, Mumia Abu-Jamal.  Abu-Jamal shot  Philadelphia police officer Daniel Faulkner down in execution style in front of several witnesses.  First, he shot him in the back and while Officer Faulkner was on the ground helpless, Abu-Jamal executed him with a bullet between the eyes.  Besides the witnesses, most of whom are also black, Abu-Jamal was bragging to two other patients that he had shot Faulkner, saying:

“I shot the motherfucker, and I hope the motherfucker dies.”

He is currently in the hospital, suffering from an undisclosed illness, which has been rumored to be related to high blood sugar.  The letters from the third grade class were sent to Johanna Fernandez, a professor of history at Baruch College, who delivered them to Abu-Jamal.  She told about the experience later saying:

“We shared a touching moment with Mumia in an effort to raise his spirits.”

“Two teachers delivered letters to us that their students had written to Mumia.”

“It had been a long time since we had seen Mumia smile.”

“He chuckled as he read excerpts from these touching letters.”

Abu-Jamal is a hero to the far left who insist he is innocent and was railroaded because of his color.  This despite the fact that so many witnesses who testified against him were also black.

Faulkner was shot after he stopped Abu-Jamal’s brother in a routine traffic stop and that is when Abu-Jamal killed him.  His gun was still on the scene when the police arrived.  His cause has been championed by Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie O’Donnell.

Parents and the Fraternal Order of Police are angry about the letters written by children too young to understand.  No word on whether the teacher will be punished but my guess is they won’t.
