Florida GOP Rep Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s Pakistani-born IT aide Imran Awan was arrested Tuesday attempting to flee the country, according to a reporter from Fox News.
Awan was hired by Debbie Wasserman Schultz and other Democrats to be their IT guy and is suspected of blackmailing many of them, along with a host of other crimes.
The Daily Caller reported Sunday night that the FBI recovered a bunch of smashed hard drives and other computer equipment from his home.
Just hours after their report broke, Fox News reporter Chad Pergram reported Awan was arrested at Dulles Airport “trying to leave the country” and hit with federal charges:

It’s rather remarkable all this happened within hours of The Daily Caller’s report. What comes out of this trial could be absolutely massive.
