A California imam is feeling the backlash of his Islamic jihad message in calling for the annihilation of the Jews, “down to the very last one” in order to “liberate the Al-Aqsa mosque from the filth of the Jews.”
Ammar Shahin, the imam of the Islamic Center at Davis, California uttered the words “Oh, Allah, liberate the Al-Aqsa mosque from the filth of the Jews…. Oh, Allah, count them one by one and annihilate them down to the very last one” during a 52-minutes khutbah (sermon).
The area of the Al-Aqsa is considered a holy site for Jews and Muslims, and even some Christians, though biblical Christians view the entire world as under the authority of King Jesus (1 Corinthians 15).
Shahin was busted espousing not radical Islamic doctrine, but true Islamic doctrine.
He told The Washington Post that he was only calling for the annihilation of the Jews who were at Al-Aqsa, as though that makes any difference.
He issued an apology stating, “I do understand how my words were hurtful, and I am sorry … I understand that speech like this can encourage others to do hateful and violent acts, for this, I truly apologize. Words matter and have consequences.”

But is that true, or is he merely engaging in taqiyya? I believe the latter is the truth.
According to a translation of a sermon by Shahin from July 14 by The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), he made the following comments:
By Allah, the Prophet Muhammad told us, in many narrations – and there is no time to list all of them now – that prayer is the strongest weapon that Muslims have.
By Allah, brothers, it is stronger than the weapons of the Jews, the deceit of the Jews, and their wickedness. … The Al-Aqsa Mosque is besieged, and there are no prayers in it.
Those wicked Jews are prohibiting prayer there … Oh Allah, count them one by one and destroy them down to the very last one.
To demonstrate that this is nothing more than taqiyya to engage in damage control, Shahin’s mosque chose to defend him and said that MEMRI had mistranslated his words.
The mosque said that he meant for Allah to “destroy” the Jews, not “annihilate” them.
I ask, what is the difference?
According to Israel’s Arutz Sheva, the Muslim Public Affairs Council criticized Shaheen’s sermon, saying he had misquoted Muhammad.
After he was called out for proclaiming what Islamic doctrine simply teaches, he apologized, but one seriously has to wonder if the apology was sincere. I mean, he hasn’t abandoned Islam, has he?
What’s even more telling is that no Muslims chastised Shanin for his statements when they first came out.
Instead, Fox News reports, “Then the capper: as a result of the public outcry about the sermon, Muslims in Davis were afraid they might be targeted for violence.”
“Islam gets away with everything,” says Nonie Darwish, who was born Muslim but converted to Christianity after 9/11.
She not only gained death threats as a result of her conversion, but also garnered them from Muslims for her book “Wholly Different: Why I chose biblical values over Islamic values.”
“The preachers who make these statements about Jews try to cover up their meaning by saying they’re just using the words of the Prophet Muhammed, and no one can criticize what Muhammed said,” Nonie said. “And to quote Muhammed is pure Islam. They know that and use it.”
Let me be clear, there is coming a day when all men will stand before their Creator and they will not only answer for the things they do in the body, but even for the words and intentions of their hearts.
God will ultimately destroy the wicked.
However, the Koran calls for the absolute murder of Jews and “people of the book” (Christians) and infidels.
There is no escaping that reality and Islam has a 1400-year track record to prove it.
The message to mankind is to turn from sin and turn to the living and true God and have faith in the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ.
